6th Grade Participates in Local Contest

This quarter students participated in an art contest sponsered by the Pittsburgh affiliate of the Association for Women in Science (AWIS). Their contest, titled "Beyond Marie Curie," required students to research and create art to represent women scientists that are less well known than the 3-4 women scientists most frequently taught in schools.
