Vanessa German visits!

Vanessa German, multidisciplinary artist based in Homewood, is the founder of, "Love Front Porch", Homewood's Art House, and the "STOP SHOOTING, WE LOVE YOU" signs.

Our fifth grade students have been following her artistic process to collaboratively create large signs that will help our school, environment, or Pittsburgh community thrive. Students enthusiastically shared their work in progress that was inspired by Ms. German. Also while visiting, Ms. German asked questions, answered questions, shared ideas, and sang with the students.
