While students study "What defines a community?", specifically, "What makes a community diverse?", they experience different animal senses to experience various perceptions.

Options for student's final projects were then narrowed to three styles inspired by experiences throughout the quarter. Students chose from M.C. Escher tessellations (inspired by the fly's compound eye), color limitation (dog, cat, spider, baby, frog), or silhouettes (shark's hunting style).

After choosing the style that spoke to them, students went outside to the Living Lab and chose an object to duplicate through the lense of that style.

Students showed creativity by brainstorming multiple ideas using human centered design then getting peer feedback.
