Down to the Core Challenge

Students complete the last of our Design Lives Here! challenges, "Down to the Core". Students are challenged to design and build a tool that can take a core sample from a potato. Materials available include: craft sticks, straws, binder clips, rubber bands, tape, and paper cups. Students continue to follow the engineering design process to design and build successful tools.
