6th grade Reflection Time

6th grade took some time today to reflect on their first two sculpture projects. Students added photos of their sculptures to their portfolio, picked one prompt and answered the following prompts:

  • I was trying to show...

  • I think I succeeded because...

  • I wish I had...

After reflecting on the sculptures themselves, students took the time to answer the following questions about their work that's been displayed in the hallways:

How does seeing your art on display impact you as the artist?

How do you think having your art around the school impacts others?

We put their responses into a WORDLE- it was interesting to see how each student's perspective about having their work displayed was different and for different reasons.
