1 min read

This week in Thinking Lab we are launching the Sight Conference 2014! Over the course of two days students will attend a Sight Conference with 4 optional sessions and 1 keynote speaker each day. Optional sessions include: Best Thermal Vision - Pit Vipers, Insects and The Compound Eye, An experiment with Night Vision, and Infrared Vision.

Keynote Speakers: Conference Day 1 - Ms. Papa and sharks use of silhouettes for seeing predators/prey

Conference Day 2 - Mrs. DeLuca and understanding how the human eye works

Be sure to ask your students about the experiments they did and types of art they used to show how each animal sees!

During reflection time this week, students will reflect on the things they've learned during the Sight Conference with the question: "How does sight help animals understand their world?"

Check out the student in the photo experimenting with Thermal Vision like Pit Vipers experience!
